Permanent Green Card (10-year):

  • Standard Green Card valid for 10 years
  • Renewable indefinitely
  • No conditions to remove

Conditional Green Card (2-year):

  • Issued for marriage-based Green Cards (if married less than 2 years)
  • Valid for 2 years
  • Must file I-751 to remove conditions within 90 days before expiration
  • Must prove bona fide marriage
